第一百三十七条 出租人应当在合同约定的卸货港卸货。合同订有承租人选择卸货港条款的，在承租人未按照合同约定及时通知确定的卸货港时，船长可以从约定的选卸港中自行选定一港卸货。承租人未按照合同约定及时通知确定的卸货港，致使出租人遭受损失的，应当承担赔偿责任。出租人未按照合同约定，擅自选定港口卸货致使承租人遭受损失的，应当承担赔偿责任。

This means that a linear increase of value in colour space does not correspond to a linear increase in actual physical light intensity, instead following more of a curve. If we want to mathematically operate on colour values in a physically accurate way, we must first convert them to linear space by applying gamma decompression.
